Inter Milan Sack Coach Gian Piero Gasperini


Inter Milan have sacked coach Gian Piero Gasperi, after only five games and three free months.

Former Director of Genoa, 53, has lost four games, while only one point away from Rome, and his side sit in the seventeenth Serie A.

His last game was a disastrous defeat 3-1 on Tuesday from Novara, who were only promoted last season.

Inter lost 1-0 at Trabzonspor at the San Siro in the Champions League and AC Milan were to win the Italian Super Cup in August.

Gasperini was a substitute for Leonardo, who is now at Paris Saint-Germain.

A statement by the Inter read: "The Inter announces that day's training was led by Giuseppe Baresi and Daniele Bernazzani.

Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger Will Not Sack, Says CEO Ivan Gazidis


Arsenal managing director Ivan Gazidis insists that the club will not sack Wenger.

The Gunners have lost three of their first five games of the Premier League and are one point above the relegation zone in 17th position.

But Gazidis said: "Arsene Wenger is not broke To see portrayed him as an idiot is bad - not him or the club, but the game ..

"[He Looting] is a path that we're not going to go down."

Gazidis added: "He did not suddenly become a bad manager or out of touch is absurd .."

Arsenal 4-3 Blackburn


Blackburn Rovers eased the pressure on manager Steve Kean, because they came from behind to beat Arsenal in a thrilling match at Ewood Park.

Chelsea Is Still A Threat, Says Britain, Sir Alex Ferguson


Manchester United Sir Alex Ferguson said it would be a mistake to dismiss the chances of Chelsea winning the Premier League this season.

City "Naive" Man Will Improve In The Champions League, Says Roberto Mancini


Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini admitted his side were "nervous and naive" in their debut Champions League - but believes they will improve.

Other Villas-Boas Says Chelsea Will Go After The Victory At Manchester United


Chelsea, Andre Villas-Boas accepts his part "a completely different challenge," when they visit Manchester United on Sunday.

David Luiz and Juan Mata scored in the 2-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League opens Tuesday.

Barcelona Finally Reveals The Captain Of Arsenal Cesc Fabregas



Barcelona is ready to unveil Cesc Fabregas during a ceremony on Homecoming weekend, BBC Sport has learned.

Tottenham V Chelsea Match Moved To London After Riots
